It's great to see the wedding photos from one of our brides. Jennifer and Adrian married late last year at Butleigh Wootton in Kew, Victoria. The vintage theme complimented their surrounds perfectly.  Kate Deagan from StudioK8 captured the day.

Thanks Jennifer and Adrian for sharing your day.

Dizzy Wizzy created bookmarks in place of a traditional favour. A friend of the bride scripted a poem to go on the back to explain the couple had donated to charity in lieu of wedding favours. Ingeniously, the bookmark also acted as the guest's place card.

Happy 1st birthday Dizzy Wizzy (way back in October), Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Where did January (and November and December) go? Just thought I would catch up on all the seasons greetings.

So things has been been a little crazy in my little world. Since November Dizzy Wizzy has moved house, demolished said house with work on the new house and new studio space starting soon - whoo hoo.

I've worked on lots of invitations, organised a photo shoot, created corporate logos (yes I do corporate work).  I have updated my gallery with a few new designs but I still have heaps more to upload. I have had the pleasure of working with some lovely brides so over all it has been really busy but loads of fun.

I plan to update my blog on a regular basis, so drop back soon to see whats happening behind the scenes at Dizzy Wizzy Design.

Twelve months ago I went along to the first Perth Upmarket and was blown away by the number of people and sheer size of this new craft and design market. You could barely move around the Perth Town Hall.

Perth Upmarket brings together artists, designers, stylists, craftspeople and gourmets all under one roof.  Upmarket is the place to find handmade clothing, cupcakes, wall art, cards, homewares, jewellery to skin care products.

The lovely lady behind Perth Upmarket, Justine Barsley, moved to Perth in 2006 and found that whilst there was alot of creative people, they were a bit hard to find. Wanting to find a regular high quality market to sell her own designs evolved the concept of Perth Upmarket.

Well twelve months have passed by so fast and I'm excited to say that Dizzy Wizzy Stationery Designs will be available at the market this Sunday - hooray! Hope to catch you there, here's the details;

Perth Upmarket
When: Sunday 13 September

Bali has long been a favourite West Aussie holiday destination. More recently it has become a great place to get hitched. During our two week stay in Bali our hotel played host to four weddings. All  were very lovely albeit not very private with most hotel guests watching the festivities from their sun lounges.  But one has time to ponder when on holiday and I thought it was about time I through some inspiration your way. So here's my very first inspiration Sunday..... enjoy

I love Minted! If you are not familiar with this great stationery website here's the lowdown.

Minted is an online store selling custom stationery, including invitations and holiday photo cards . Basically its Threadless for stationery! Minted offers stationery from independent designers (that would be me) that you may not hear about or have access to through traditional retailers. They regularly run competitions and the highest scoring designs are sold on their website.

Currently three of my designs are available for sale included the Feast menu which is pictured below. To view the designs visit www.minted.com/designer/dizzywizzydesign
